No, I do not accept insurance because I am not a licensed medical provider, and my nutrition and healthcare navigation services are not covered by insurance.
-
I do not offer payment plans for appointments, however I keep limited slots available for sliding scale clients.
-
After spending more than 3 years circling the drain of the medical system(s) with no one to properly guide me, inform me of my rights as a patient, or teach me how to not waste my time and money on empty promises, I recognized several serious unmet needs in the patience experience:
Clear, direct instructions from someone who knows the in’s and out’s of the system(s) and its limitations.
A list of red flags to watch out for, especially with alternative resources.
How to know when a resource is relevant to my case or worth the effort.
How much I am actually able to provide for myself without constant external guidance.
In working with me, I will make sure that you can walk into any healthcare setting with greater confidence, aware of what you may be signing up for, what options are available to you, when an expert is needed, and what you can safely manage on your own.
-
My expertise is not in knowing what your answers are, but in knowing how you can find them and in empowering you to better care for yourself so that you will not always have to be reliant on external sources.
I will not be the person to diagnose or treat you, but I can connect you to the providers who may be able to, and I can provide additional care with personalized dietary and lifestyle guidance.
My services do not replace medical care, but may be complimentary to it. My ultimate goal is to improve your patient experience by providing a value that standard medical care typically leaves out, even in holistic healthcare settings.

Prior to your intake session, I will email you a few forms to fill out. The first is a standard consent form which is required to work with me regardless of which type of session.
For Nutrition Services:
I require all new clients to fill out an intake survey which includes basic information about your health history, current health status, top health concerns, and current health goals. This allows me to get to know what your goals and needs in advance so we can make the most of our session.
I will also send you a Food & Activity Journal for you to track for 3 days prior to our appointment, so that I can better understand your current diet and lifestyle before making recommendations for improvement.
For Healthcare Navigation Services:
I require all new clients to fill out an intake survey which includes basic information about your health history and prior healthcare experiences, as well as your top health concerns, current level of access to healthcare, and goals for your healthcare experience moving forward.
All information provided will be kept confidential per HIPAA regulations.
